The aunav.MEGA is the large-sized robot designed and developed by Proytecsa for perimeter surveillance, emergency management and EOD, CIED and CBRN operations in critical infrastructures, such as petrochemical facilities, nuclear facilities and major industrial plants.

Accidents involving toxic gases, hazardous chemical products or the need to handle explosive devices or radiological waste require remote-control robots capable of performing operations in dangerous locations, such as radioactive warehouses, petrochemical plants, storage tanks and in conduits and pipes located at altitude.

The option to incorporate environmental, chemical and radiological sensors, among many others, provide it with the ability to send critical information in real time to the various operation units for better situational awareness about the environment without jeopardising human lives.

THE EOD/IED ROBOT WITH
THE LONGEST REACH ON THE MARKET

  • Its hydraulic arm includes two telescopic sections that enable it to act and inspect high roof areas or storage tanks up to a height of 18 m.
  • It has a lifting force that enables it to raise objects weighing up to 220 Kg.
  • It is fitted with a diesel engine that provides operational autonomy for over 8 hours.

AGILITY AND PRECISION

  • The 360º rotation of its turret enables it to move the hydraulic arm into any position without needing to move the robot.
  • The use of various arm speeds and the 360º rotational capability of its grip offer great precision when handling delicate objects.
  • It has automatic inclination control and full traction to all four wheels and three steering modes, one of which enables the robot to move sideways, thereby guaranteeing superb movement agility and turning capacity in tight spaces.
  • The operator can create multiple pre-defined positions for the arm, thereby reducing operating time and simplifying complex or repetitive movements.

CONTROL CENTRE (OCU)

  • This comprises a rugged dual touchscreen control unit with an ergonomic control pad for robot operation.
  • It allows up to four cameras to be selected and displayed simultaneously in real time, and the robot to be operated at a safety distance of between 700 m and 3 Km depending on the nature of the terrain.
  • It uses a 3D representation of the robot to show the position of any arm articulation to the operator in real time.
