ARM

The aunav.CID-Light is a lightweight multi-vehicle arm aimed at detecting and neutralisation IED/EOD.

It represents the next step in the evolution of the robotic arms market thanks to its innovative control technology aimed at helping the operator handle the arm to drastically reduce operation time and reduce mission risk while also providing the option to use automatically managed tools as well as weapons and disruptors.

The arm can be operated from the safe interior of the vehicle or remotely thanks to its IR and thermographic vision system.

Its design conceals elements susceptible to damage during any operation, thereby minimising risk in the event of an attack or explosion during the mission.

VERSATILITY IN MULTIPLE THEATRES OF OPERATION

  • It enables investigation, removal and deactivation tasks to be performed safely with IED of between 90 Kg and 400 Kg located at a safe distance of up to 8.5 m from the vehicle.
  • Metal detectors, ground penetrating radar (GPR) or CBRN sensors can be added for the detection and investigation of IED-EOD, which are managed from the arm control unit itself.
  • Once the threat has been identified, the operator can neutralise it by using the automatic tools system incorporated into the arm, its disruptors or the grip/claws themselves without the need to leave the vehicle interior.

HIGH LEVEL OF CONTROL, PRECISION AND DEXTERITY

  • The touchscreen control unit, operated via an ergonomic control pad, provides the EOD operator with excellent situational awareness of their surroundings in real time, displaying images from up to four cameras simultaneously and information from its advanced detection sensors.
  • The arm and grip have various speeds for handling delicate objects and can rotate 360º on their own axis, enabling the arm to be moved into any position precisely without needing to move the vehicle.
  • The use of pre-defined automatic positions enables arm deployment time to be reduced, thereby facilitating and simplifying complex or repetitive movements such as arm retraction or deployment.

CONTROL CENTRE (OCU)

  • This comprises a rugged control tablet and an ergonomic control pad for arm operation.
  • It allows up to four cameras to be selected and displayed simultaneously in real time, and the robot to be operated at a safety distance of up to 1 Km depending on the nature of the terrain.
  • It uses a 3D representation of the robot to show the position of any arm articulation to the operator in real time.
